Do not wear sandals with socks

Do not wear sandals and socks together in any way!

Shouldn’t we really wear sandals (closed front sandals and open-toed sandals, etc.) and socks together? Is it easy to answer this question?

Good old days! During school, we had teachers who did not know much about the dress code. The same ones that cast plaster for distracted students. The teachers often wore open-toed sandals and pea-colored plastic socks that prevented them from slipping and hitting the plaster correctly. Of course, their feet also had static electricity. Of course, the immorality of such teachers made the combination of sandals with socks never popular. But there are other options to consider.

Wearing classic open front sandals with socks?

The answer to this question is quite clear. One hundred percent not! Such a combination is not acceptable at all.

Closed front sandals and socks

Closed front sandals are Dutch wooden sandals, the most popular of which are made in the Boston type by the German company Birken Stock. Japan also has a great influence on the process of wearing socks and closed-toe sandals, and the sock used by the people of this country is a sock known as “wood”, which is made by the Japanese company Glenn Clyde and modeled from old designs of Fair Isle.

The general rule is that socks have a lot of patterns. Because in any case, a person who wants to use a combination of sandals and socks, contrary to the custom of covering society, has no reason to wear simple socks. In fact, such a combination can best be completed with long jeans. Of course, the hem of the pants should not be folded.

An American phenomenon

Sandals were once very popular among European soccer stars, and they wore such slippers when they rested by the pool. In addition to using such slippers, these players wore their hair into strange hairstyles (for example, the German national team players in the 2001s) and wore very short shorts but never wore socks.

However, the situation has changed a lot since then, and Americans wear sandals with most sports socks (white sports socks). In fact, this combination is mostly worn with sports shorts, and if you are careful, it is also used by movie characters in Hollywood. When the sock is below the knee, it has an acceptable effect, but it can only be used in summer.

Slippers

Australians, Americans and Britons wear slippers in social circles without wearing socks. Of course, there are companies that produce socks for wearing with slippers. But when wearing slip-on slippers without socks is not very pleasant, wearing them with socks is a violation of the custom of society.

In general, there is only one type of sock that can be worn with slippers, and that is the traditional Japanese sock, which is like gloves and is often white and is worn with traditional Japanese slippers. These socks, which are produced in both men and women, are pleasing only with traditional Japanese clothing such as kimonos.
