Vegetable leather

All kinds of natural leather In ancient times, vegetable leather, which is a type of natural leather, was used to make armor. In tanning this type of leather, chemical materials and dyes are not used as much as possible, and instead vegetable dyes and animal materials and oils are used. This type of leather is one of the best types of tanning due to having the most environmental compatibility and no side effects due to contact with human skin. This type of leather is flexible among natural leather types and its color is brown, the color of which depends on the chemical composition and skin color.

Vegetable leather is not stable in water, it becomes colorless and if you dry it after getting wet, it will wrinkle and its flexibility and softness will be reduced. This type of leather is more wrinkled in hot water and looks almost like gelatin. In addition, it hardens and possibly becomes brittle.

Boiled leather is an example of a type of natural leather that floats and hardens in hot water. This happens in boiled wax and similar substances. In history, it has been used occasionally in armor as well as in the binding of books after hardening. This type of leather is the only type of leather that can be suitable for engraving and molding leather.

One-grain granular leathers

In this type of natural leather, the outer layer of the skin is used, which is sanded and processed to remove the natural signs and symptoms of the skin. This creates a smooth texture and high durability of the bag, although the processing and work done on this type of leather reduces its real life.

Full grain leather

This leather uses the outer layer of the skin but is not processed. Natural signs are evident in this leather, they are the strongest and most durable type of leather.

Chrome leather

Chrome leather is a type of natural leather whose main tanning material is based on chrome. On the surface of some chrome leathers that have a poor surface, a design is printed artificially, which is called printed chrome.

Suede leather

This leather is made from goat and calf skin, which is polished during a special process and by special tools. The meat surface is made into a velvet, which is mostly used as a liner in other products.

Split leather

Split leather is a type of natural leather similar to suede, which is obtained from the lamination of thick cow leathers, and which is considered and classified as lower level than suede.

Nubuck leather

Nubuck leather is a kind of leather that has a velvety appearance like suede and ash, but is very polished and has a soft surface.

Patent leather

This product is a type of leather that is made of calfskin and its surface is glazed and covered with a special patent to make it look shiny.
